HPHT Wells Summit 2009

Oil and Gas IQ's HP/HT Wells Summit will be returning to Aberdeen this November for the 5th year running - bringing together the leading operators, contractors and technology providers in the HP/HT arena to deliver case studies from some of the most advanced and successful HP/HT projects worldwide.

With deepwater drilling expected to make up 40 percent of all exploratory wells by 2013, HP/HT projects are becoming more and more of a drilling reality for operators globally.

The pursuit of reserves in deepwater and ultra deep water drilling projects frequently results in encountering challenging High-Pressure/High-Temperature (HP/HT) environments.

To meet the industry's needs, technology and equipment capabilities are constantly evolving to withstand the most extreme HP/HT conditions.

You need to make sure that you are up to date with technologies and techniques most suited to your HPHT project's needs.

Through expert case study experience, at this year's HPHT Wells Summit you will hear the latest insights into:

  • Selecting reliable materials and equipment
  • Increasing the reliability and survivability of equipment
  • Extending the working life of materials
  • Ensuring cost effective and efficient testing and qualification methodologies
  • Planning for drilling and completion phases in your HPHT projects
